Solutions that help today's kids

thrive

not just cope

As seen on

Hi, I’m Sonja Walker.
I’m the founder and director of Kids First Children’s Services, a multi-award winning children’s health and education centre in Sydney.

I’ve been a qualified teacher since 1988 and I’m also a busy wife and mum.

In the past 8 years, together with my team of highly respected child psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and teachers, I’ve helped more than 9000 families overcome their children’s learning, developmental and behavioural challenges.

Every day, my mission is to give parents and teachers the confidence, information and understanding they need to support the children in their care.

quote

Sonja has presented twice to our employee diversity network on family-related topics, and has on both occasions provided interesting, relevant and practical information for parents, and more specifically for working parents. She speaks with a great deal of energy and enthusiasm and employees leave feeling that someone understands their issues, and that there are real and pragmatic ways to make changes for themselves and their families, and to help them deal with the parenting issues that they are facing. We are having Sonja back later this year to speak again on a third and completely different topic.
